This is one of my favorite treats at Passover. I make it every year. I got this fantastic recipe from
my friend Marci Alter years ago, tweaked it a bit and it has become a Passover staple. You can do
many variations with semi sweet chocolate, white chocolate and nuts. The combinations are
endless.
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips
matzoh
preheat oven to 400 degrees
Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil
Melt butter. Add 1 cup brown sugar. Bring to boil for 3 minutes, mixing often.
Pour mixture over matzoh.
Bake for EXACTLY 5 minutes. Remove from oven.
Pour semi sweet chocolate chips on top of matzoh and spread evenly as it melts
Melt white chocolate and drizzle over chocolate.
Chill in fridge until hard and then break into pieces.
You can make it the other way around with white chocolate and semi sweet chocolate drizzle.
Or sprinkle with nuts.
Many combinations, all of which are delicious.
Happy Passover!
Easy Done! Enjoy!
