Camp Ruby: Let’s Take A Bow For The Bat Mitzvah Party That Stole The Show!
It was the first day of spring but all attention was on the summer, specifically camp. So grab a towel, some sunscreen and maybe stop by the art barn for some supplies as we jump right in to the bat mitzvah bash of the year — Camp Ruby!

The theme was evident from the beginning as visitors to Orienta Beach Club were transported into a camp-like atmosphere, complete with an Infirmary (bar) for adults and a lounge for the teen crowd, called appropriately enough Bunk 13!

The Camp Ruby logos and taglines, designed by @denyerdezignz, were displayed everywhere, on pillows, centerpieces, even cocktail napkins!

Each adult dining table was a separate camp ‘activity’, which the centerpieces reflected in great, colorful detail.

The menus paid tribute to those days at camp where your counsellors encouraged (forced?) you to write letters home!

Cocktail hour was a time to snap some pics at the amazing 3D photo booth, show off the kicks and for family and friends to pay tribute to the guest of honor in multiple ways.

Once the informal portion of the evening was over, it was time to kick this shindig into high gear, welcoming the host family in spectacular fashion!
First the parents…

Then the siblings…

And finally, the woman of the moment!

Up in the chair with you all!

Yes, even the parents!

Traditional mitzvah formalities, included a magical candle lighting ceremony, hosted expertly by our guest of honor…

Some encouraging words from the nuclear fam…

And even a trip around the dance floor for dad and his mitzvah girl!

The montage looked and sounded spectacular on the big screen and was met with critical approval from our honoree.

After all the formalities were done, the attention turned to the dance floor, where our mitzvah girl, with the encouragement of our entertainment partners ET Events, dominated the stage all night.

There was a dazzling array of logo’d swag, furnished by our friends at Blue Light Promotions, given away throughout the night and many of the ‘campers’ couldn’t wait to display the wares.

And don’t forget to stop by the canteen on your way out for a little — well maybe a lot — of sugar.

Mazel Tov Ruby and family! This was a Visiting Day we will remember for years to come!

Easy! Done! Enjoy!
