Game Day Super “Bowl” Containers
I like to be creative when it comes to celebrating various holidays and I always try to make
something on my own. I came up with this idea of making Super Bowl themed containers
out of mini popcorn boxes. Besides popcorn, these can be used for almost anything like
candy, wings, your own serving of chips and salsa or to hold utensils. I bought black and
white stripped ones to make mini referees and brown ones to make football boxes.
This was so much fun and is sure to be a winner for your Super Bowl party.
What you’ll need:
brown and black and white stripped mini popcorn boxes
toy whistles
mini black buttons
glue dots
Scissors
white duct tape
Let’s get started with the referee boxes:
Step 1: Lay stripped box flat on the table. Make glue dots into little balls and attach 3 in a
straight line. Making sure to center.
Step 2: Attach black buttons to the glue dots making sure they are spaced evenly and centered.
Step 3: Cut whistle string
Step 4: Using glue dots attach the ends of the string to the inside of the box.
Step 5: Hang whistle around the box making it look like a referee’s uniform.
Let’s get started with the football boxes:
Step 1: Cut duct tape into thin equal strips.
Step 2: Make sure each piece of duct tape is the same size.
Step 3: Lay the box flat and place the strip of tape in the middle of the box.
Step 4: Cut equal strips of tape for the laces.
Step 5: Center first “lace” in the middle of the strip to foam a cross
Step 6: Add the last two strips of tape evenly to make it look like a football.
These mini popcorn boxes will be a game stealer and add that little something to your
party playbook. Touch Down!
Easy! Done! Enjoy!
