Dolphin Themed Bat Mitzvah Party
Lucy loves dolphins and I tried to bring that joy and love to her Bat Mitzvah party. The saying of the
night was “Let the Fin Begin!” and as guests arrived at the Golf Club of Avon everyone was ready to
dive in and celebrate this wonderful girl.
Party goers were greeted by a beautiful photo of the guest of honor. To get in the beach-y mood,
they picked up their sunglass place card, which also added a little cool factor.
The room was lit in blue to give the feeling of under the sea.
Each centerpiece was a dolphin diving into water, lit with LED
lights to give it a special glow.
There were photos around the room of Lucy swimming with dolphins reminding us
why we are here.
The adults enjoyed the deck for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. There was even a touch of blue on
the deck giving the feel of the ocean.
One thing I loved was this pillow I had made for Lucy with a logo to have as a keepsake from
this wonderful night.
There were cool tie dye socks, a favorite of the mitzvah girl, for people to put on to dance the
night away.
The backdrop made you feel like you were at a red carpet event, where Boppers Events provided
keepsake photos for all the guests.
Even the cake had this whimsical dolphin theme which was created by the talented Julie Armstrong
of LizMar Sweets. This served as the focal point for a touching candle lighting ceremony, where the
special people in Lucy’s life were called up to honor her.
The usual sigh-in board was replaced by giant letters for guests to sign and for L-U-C-Y to keep
as a reminder of this fantastic night.
As Lucy’s friends said goodbye they received a logo’d t-shirt to remind them of the night and Lucy’s
love of dolphins.
Easy! Done! Enjoy!
