The One Where Marley Has a ‘Friends’ Bat Mitzvah Party!

I, like most millennials, was a big fan of the sitcom ‘Friends’. So, when a return client told me her
Gen Y daughter wanted to have a ‘Friends’ party for her bat mitzvah, well, hey, count me in!

Upon entering the venue, friends and family found their place cards, which introduced them to the
theme of the evening. And by the way…

Even the card box was thematic, with a personal ‘Friends’ style message from the Bar Mitzvah girl.

Partygoers were encouraged to leave a message for Marley on the giant M just outside the ballroom.

And a giant light-up sign left no doubt who was the star of this show!

The young adults’ area was designed to resemble the cafe where  ‘Gunther’ poured the java
and ‘Chandler’, ‘Ross’ and ‘Joey’ plotted their hijinx.

Specially designed Marley pillows made it all that more comfortable…

To watch episodes of the show streaming inside ‘Central Perk’.

Even the votives placed on cocktail tables throughout the venue were emblematic of the theme.

The centerpieces were giant light up signs of all the guest of honor’s favorite characters…

Surrounded by iconic objects from the show in the form of confetti. Oh. My. God, even Janice had
a table!

The yummy family-style Chinese food, provided by Tumblebrook Country Club, was enjoyed
with chopsticks wrapped in ‘Friends’-style Marley paper.

And friends got to take home these great sweatshirts, monogrammed with the Marley logo and
the date.

Mazel Tov Marley! Your family and FRIENDS had an awesome night!

Easy! Done! Enjoy!
