Ethan’s Basketball-themed Bar Mitzvah Party

Basketball Themed Bar Mitzvah Party

This party was at an amazing venue and restaurant, Barcelona Wine Bar in West Hartford,
Connecticut. There was very little I had to do to ‘dress up’ the joint and the food was out of
this world, matching the theme and spirit of the event and the date, Cinco de Mayo, beautifully.

There were many delicious appetizers for all to enjoy…

Drink stations for both young…

And old.

Basketball Themed Bar Mitzvah

And something for everyone.

And the food kept coming!

This Bar Mitzvah party had a basketball theme. As guests arrived they were greeted by a sign that
listed their table assignments as part of “Ethan’s Team Rosters”.

Each guest table was a different NBA team.

There was a basketball and a display case for family and friends to sign and leave a note for the
guest of honor.

Tables were decorated with signs that looked like team pennants…

And the bases glowed.

To add a little more to the theme, there were mini cut-out Spalding basketballs scattered on the
cocktail and guest tables.

A color scheme of orange and navy that went well with the basketball theme. The cake made a
beautiful focal point for the candle lighting ceremony and was created by Julie Armstrong of
LizMar Sweets.
It featured the theme colors and accentuated the basketball theme.

The guest of honor’s friends received these fantastic basketball socks designed especially for the
occasion.

And they got to grab some yummy basketball shaped chocolates on their way out.

This party was a slam dunk in every way. Mazel Tov Ethan and Family!

Easy! Done! Enjoy!
