Garden-Themed Bat Mitzvah Party
Spring is finally here and what better way to kick off the season than by having a garden-themed
party!
The weather was just perfect which allowed the adults to enjoy the outdoor cocktail hour while
feasting on the delicious Pond House.food.
Inside the younger guests were partaking in a scavenger hunt (for which I may have planted a
hint or two).
Flower-shaped place cards sprouted from mini clay pot displays. The top part was made out of
plantable “seed paper”, able to produce a mix of beautiful real flowers.
Each table was a different type of flower blooming with a mini chalk sign.
There was a giant table reserved for friends of the guest of honor. Centerpieces on this table
were filled with all kinds of flowers from the rest of the tables creating a “garden” centerpiece.
This was the “garden” table and it, too, had a mini chalk sign label.
Besides the mixed flower arrangements decorating the Bat Mitzvah girl’s table, there were yummy
treats displayed in garden containers like this watering can…
or a pail. Both featured little gardening shovels to help spoon out the goodies.
The orange and pink color scheme adorned each table, while chalkboard signs and burlap
blossomed everywhere!
The card box featured all these decorating elements.
Even in the ladies room, the garden-theme was represented with a special basket using a watering
can as the container.
Since it was Cinco De Mayo it seemed only fitting to have a piñata which, of course, matched
the garden theme.
We were so lucky to have the most beautiful day to help celebrate this special milestone. Outside
were various lawn games for all ages to enjoy while taking advantage of the weather.
The Pond House had a yummy display of mouth-watering desserts for the adults to indulge.
And as the guests left the event they were given a tree to plant. This was a wonderful take-home
favor and went perfectly with the theme! Happy Spring!
Easy! Done Enjoy!
