I truly enjoyed working with this family planning their son’s Bar Mitzvah Party. The man of the hour
is a huge soccer fan (as is his father) and this theme scored big points with both the family and their
guests.
As guests arrived they picked up their ticket place cards and made a fast break to their table.
Each table was named after an English Premier League soccer team and had a centerpiece with
mini soccer balls and the team’s logo proudly displayed.
The young adults had a very special place to sit together at a giant U-shaped table. They were
part of the Chelsea Team and were thrilled to be on the “roster” listed at the entrance.
On the cocktail tables were soccer cleats transformed into candle holders with a turf runner for
an added little kick.
Also displayed on turf was a card box that scored points with the decor.
A soccer ball and display case were used as the sign-in board. Guests could sign their name
and leave a note for the guest of honor.
A beautiful cake created by A Little Something Bakery took the candle lighting ceremony to the top
of the standings.
The DJ company, Boppers Events, wore black and white referee shirts that matched perfectly
with the theme as did the table napkins.
A logo made especially for the Bar Mitzvah boy was used in the decor throughout the party:
…On the flats screens brought in by Boppers Events,
…On the step-and-repeat backdrop for the photo station,
…And on soccer jersey-style favors for the young man’s friends as they left the party.
Finally, as all of the guests left for the night, yummy soccer ball cake pops were there for the taking.
The perfect sweet touch to end a wonderful evening!
