I was so excited to do this theme and party. There are so many little decor elements to bring
this event to life and I am so glad I can share some of them on this blog.
As guests arrived at the Golf Club of Avon they were greeted by a sign welcoming them to “The
Maris Gallery”.
The partygoers were invited to an “exhibit” of famous artists and picked up their tickets to the
private showing.
Each table was named after a different artist and
the centerpieces were famous works created by them.
Lights enhanced the centerpieces.
And pails dripping in paint added a little whimsy to each table.
Cocktail tables were accented by votives that looked like clear little paint cans or
Specially made candle holders showing off colored pencils in every color of the rainbow.
There were photos around the venue of the guest of honor. First used as a sign-in board near the
entrance of the party designed by Avon Moto Photo
And also prominently displayed on the fireplace mantle.
There was a card box for guests to leave a gift, adorned with a beautiful logo.
This logo was also used on giant TVs brought in by Bopper’s Events which added to the decor.
There were paint pails filled with socks for the guests to put on and dance the night away.
A beautiful moment in the evening was the Candle Lighting Ceremony. Maris took the time to
write something special about people in her life and then called them up to light candles.
A great activity that night was this creative photo station brought in by Boppers Events. Once
guests got their photo taken they could add their own artistic flair to the photo and create their
own masterpiece.
As the guest of honor’s friends left for the night they picked up monogrammed towels accented by
the most perfect paint brush name tag.
The exhibit was a complete success! A beautiful showing. Mazel Tov Maris and Family!
Easy! Done! Enjoy!
