Pink and green polka dots were everywhere at this beautiful preppy Polka Dot Themed Bat
Mitzvah Party at the Simsbury Inn in Simsbury, Connecticut.
As the adults arrived they were invited to Evergreen’s Restaurant for cocktails. There they had
some nibbles and where able to get their place cards and chat with friends.
As the kids arrived they where invited to the main ballroom where they saw a sign with their
names on it directing them to “Eve’s VIP Lounge”.
“Eve’s VIP Lounge” was set up as a ultra cool and chic private area full of lounge furniture set up
with pillows, couches, benches and high tops. Of course the pink and white accents consistent
with the party’s theme were featured throughout.
The too-cool logo was omnipresent — on place cards, plasma TVs, pillows, table numbers —
everywhere.
On the adult tables were beautiful flowers done in pink and green using gum balls in the base.
Even the gum balls looked like polka dots!
I always think having a gift box is a safe and decorative way to store envelopes your child will be
receiving. Have the box go with the theme and it will be one more thing to add to the decor.
As guests arrive have them sign a photo of the guest of honor and they will have a great keepsake
of their special day.
A plated dessert for the adults and cupcakes and ice cream for the kids is a sweet way to end
the evening. And if that wasn’t enough everyone was invited to a fantastic candy bar! It’s a toss
up who enjoyed that more, the kids or the adults?
As the kids left the party they were able to pick up a special party favor. Lined up in alphabetical
order was a bag with their name. A special momento for the boys and something a little different
for the girl
What a magical night! Everyone looked beautiful and so did the decor.
