Jessie & Matt: Stately New England Meets Texas Flair!
Planning a Connecticut wedding for a couple who lives and works in Texas is not without its challenges (what did we do before Zoom?), but this collaboration between bride and groom, mother of the bride/florist and yours truly turned out as magical as any of us might have imagined. You are invited to Jessie and Matt’s stately New England meets Texas flair, late-summer wedding at the Wadsworth Mansion in Connecticut!
What do you say we get these two ready to get married?
When it was time to put on that beautiful dress there was plenty of help to be found!
A few formals before we hide the bride away for the ceremony.
With everything in place outside the mansion, final touches were being put in place for the post-ceremony events.
With the help of David Alan Hospitality Group, we were able to produce an elegant table scape, which matched our gorgeous couple perfectly! The mother of the bride, who doubled as the florist for this celebration, added even more sophistication to the proceedings.
The bar offerings were courtesy of Phoebe the dog!
A tattoo station was also available to those who wanted to ‘ink up’ for the festivities.
After a little last-minute touch-up, it was go time!
The ceremony setting, complete with the very apropos runway seating, was something straight out of a Hollywood movie!
Dad was feeling the moment!
As was our groom, especially upon seeing his bride for the first time down the aisle!
It’s always special when good friends of the couple do the honor of officiating! Great job Danika and Johnny!
We do!
And we did!
Post-ceremony was all about celebrating, including time with the entire wedding party…
…and alone, as a married couple for the first time!
Okay, enough of this alone time, it’s time to rejoin your guests.
Formal dances were the first order of business, with the classic black and white vogue of our bride and groom, working perfectly with the custom dance floor installation provided by ET Events Group.
Have to steal the newlyweds away for a couple of sunset shots.
After a costume change, our bride rejoins for some ‘formalities’.
Look out below!
Cheers Smiths!
Your wedding was as spectacular as you are!
Easy! Done! Enjoy!
