Mykayla is a huge baseball fan and it was my job to bring her love of the game to her Bat
Mitzvah Party.
As guests arrived they were first greeted with tickets lined up perfectly in rows displayed on turf.
Each place card had a baseball team logo and the guest’s name.
Each table was a different Major League Baseball team with the base of the centerpiece made
out of t-ball stands. The top of the tee was an oversized baseball with a team pennant and color
accents chosen by the guest of honor.
Scattered around the “base” were vintage baseball cards and game snacks, including “Big Chew”
gum, adding a little whimsy to the table decor.
A special logo designed for this important day with Mykayla’s favorite colors was displayed
at various locations:
…On a gift box for party-goers to leave a card,
…On the backdrop at the photo station,
…And votive candles placed alongside more vintage baseball cards on the cocktail tables.
An added attraction to this fun party was a very talented graffitti artist, Airbrushing by Andrew.
Throughout the party Mykayla’s friends were able to get a hat or a t-shirt designed by Andrew.
These creative works made for the perfect memento of this great celebration.
Even the socks had baseballs all over them and made the perfect fashion statement once guests
started to dance the night away.
A special bat was designed to commemorate the day with the Bat Mitzvah girl’s name, date
and her team, the Red Sox. The bat and a batting helmet were used as a guest book for party
goers to leave a little note for the guest of honor.
The Simsbury Inn was the perfect venue for this celebration but the icing on the cup-cakes were
all the yummy sweets on display for the taking at night’s end.
Mazel Tov Mykayla, you hit it out of the park!
Easy! Done! Enjoy!
